About

I'm Lawrence Halff, a San Francisco-based fine art photographer.

Making and viewing these images is a meditative process: detaching from thoughts and objective reference, they lead to the experience of visual sensations in the moment.

I'm inspired by a range of practioners working across mediums including Terry Riley, Richard Sera, Robert Mapplethorpe, Robert Reich, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Chez Damier, Alexander Rodchenko, David Hockney, John McLaughlin, Amber Case, Brian Eno, Elsworth Kelly, and Philip Glass.
